2. Connecting via 2.4GHz Wireless

  1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver, typically stored in a compartment on the keyboard.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to the 2.4GHz position (often indicated by a specific icon or '2.4G').
  4. The keyboard should automatically connect. If not, press the designated pairing key combination (refer to keyboard markings, usually Fn + a specific key) to initiate pairing.

3. Connecting via Bluetooth

  1. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to the Bluetooth position (often indicated by a Bluetooth icon or 'BT').
  2. On your computer or device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
  3. Press and hold the designated Bluetooth pairing key combination on the keyboard (e.g., Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 for different Bluetooth channels) until the indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
  4. Select "HP K500F" (or similar name) from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your computer and follow any on-screen prompts to complete pairing.
