1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the FOSSiBOT F1800 Portable Power Station. This device is a versatile and reliable power solution designed for various applications, including outdoor adventures, emergency home backup, and professional use. Featuring a 1024 Wh LiFePO4 battery and an 1800 W continuous AC output, the F1800 provides stable and clean power for your electronic devices and appliances. Please read this manual carefully before operating the device to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Safety Instructions

To prevent injury, electric shock, fire, or damage to the device, always observe the following safety precautions:

  • Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the unit.
  • Do not place the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  • Do not use or store the unit in a bathroom or in areas exposed to water or rain.
  • Use only original or certified charging cables and accessories.
  • Keep the unit away from children and pets.
  • Ensure proper ventilation during use and charging to prevent overheating.
  • Avoid dropping, heavy impacts, or strong vibrations.
  • In case of fire, use a dry powder fire extinguisher. Water may cause electric shock.

4. Product Overview

The FOSSiBOT F1800 is designed for ease of use and portability, offering multiple output ports and charging options.

4.1 Smart HD Display

The integrated HD display provides real-time information about the power station's status, including battery percentage, input/output wattage, remaining runtime, and safety indicators.

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your FOSSiBOT F1800. Connect the AC charging cable to the AC input port on the power station and then to a wall outlet. The display will show the charging status. A full charge from 0-80% can be achieved in approximately 45 minutes using AC input.

5.2 Connecting Solar Panels

For solar charging, connect compatible solar panels (not included) to the XT60 solar input port using the provided XT60 solar charging cable. Ensure the solar panels are placed in direct sunlight for optimal charging efficiency.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the main power button for a few seconds to turn the unit on or off. The display will illuminate upon activation.

6.2 Using AC/DC/USB Outputs

Once the unit is on, press the respective AC, DC, or USB power buttons to activate the desired output ports. Connect your devices to the appropriate ports. The display will show the output wattage.

6.3 Adjustable Charging Speed

The F1800 features a unique rotary dial to adjust the AC charging power from 200 W to 1000 W. Turn the dial to select your preferred charging speed. Higher wattage provides faster charging, while lower wattage ensures quieter operation and extends battery life.

6.4 UPS Function

The F1800 can function as an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Connect your critical devices to the AC output while the F1800 is connected to an AC wall outlet. In case of a power outage, the F1800 will automatically switch to battery power within 10 milliseconds, ensuring continuous operation for connected devices.

6.5 ECO Mode

Activate ECO mode for energy-saving operation. In this mode, the power station will automatically shut down if the output power is below a certain threshold for an extended period, conserving battery life.

6.6 App Control

Download the FOSSiBOT app to control and monitor your F1800 remotely. The app allows you to check battery status, control outputs, adjust settings, and manage charging modes.

6.7 Camping Lamp

The F1800 includes a built-in camping lamp with multiple modes (light, SOS, strobe) for illumination during outdoor activities or emergencies.

7. Charging Methods

The FOSSiBOT F1800 supports multiple charging methods:

  • AC Wall Outlet: Fully charged in approximately 1.1 hours (0-100% at 1200W).
  • Solar Panels: Up to 500W input, fully charged in about 2 hours.
  • Car Charger: 120W input, fully charged in about 9 hours.
  • AC + Solar: Combined input of 1200W AC + 500W Solar, fully charged in 1 hour and 8 minutes.
  • Gas Generator: 1200W input, fully charged in 1 hour and 8 minutes.
  • Dynamo: Fully charged in about 2 hours.

7.1 Expandable Battery Capacity

The F1800 supports external battery expansion, compatible with lead-acid and lithium batteries (12V / 24V / 48V) for increased capacity.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Storage

Store the F1800 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, charge the unit to 50-80% every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

8.2 Cleaning

Wipe the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

8.3 Battery Care

The F1800 uses a durable LiFePO4 battery. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan. The advanced BMS protects against common battery issues.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your FOSSiBOT F1800, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
