Setup
1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection
- Locate the USB receiver stored inside the back cover of the keyboard.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your device (e.g., PC, Smart TV, HTPC).
- Turn on the Rii X8 Mini Keyboard using the power switch.
- Press Fn + Caps keys simultaneously to switch to 2.4GHz wireless mode. The green LED indicator will illuminate solid once successfully paired.
- If pairing fails, repeat the steps 1-2 times. Ensure the keyboard is fully charged.

2. Bluetooth Connection
- Turn on the Rii X8 Mini Keyboard.
- Press Fn + Tab keys simultaneously to switch to Bluetooth mode. A blue LED indicator will flash.
- On your device (e.g., tablet, smartphone, Apple TV), open Bluetooth settings and search for "X8 BT1/X8 BT2/X8 BT3" (or similar).
- Select the keyboard from the list to connect. A solid blue LED indicates successful pairing.
- Tip: To pair a Bluetooth device, long press Fn + Shift for two seconds until the blue light flashes quickly, then proceed with step 3.

Operating Instructions
1. Touchpad Functions
- Single Finger Tap: Left click.
- Two Finger Tap: Right click.
- Two Finger Drag: Scroll up/down.
- Three Finger Tap: Activates mouse overdrive (speed adjustment).

2. Backlight Control
- Press Fn + Win keys simultaneously to change the RGB backlight color.
- The keyboard features 8 different RGB backlight colors.

3. Charging the Keyboard
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the keyboard's charging port and to a USB power source.
- The red LED indicator will flash when the battery is low.
- The red LED indicator will turn off when the keyboard is fully charged.

4. Power Saving Mode
The keyboard features an auto-sleep mode to conserve battery power. If inactive for a period, it will enter sleep mode. Press any key to wake it up.
Maintenance
- Keep the keyboard clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the keyboard to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not disassemble the keyboard, as this may void the warranty.
- Store the USB receiver inside the keyboard's back compartment when not in use to prevent loss.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding:
- Ensure the keyboard is turned on and fully charged.
- Verify the correct connection mode (2.4GHz or Bluetooth) is selected.
- For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into the device. Try a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is paired. Try re-pairing.
- Restart the keyboard and your connected device.
- Touchpad not working correctly:
- Ensure your fingers are clean and dry when using the touchpad.
- Check for any physical obstructions on the touchpad surface.
- Restart the keyboard.
- Backlight not changing/working:
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Press Fn + Win to cycle through backlight colors.
- If the battery is very low, backlighting might be disabled to save power. Charge the keyboard.
- Short battery life:
- Ensure the keyboard is fully charged before use.
- Reduce backlight brightness or turn it off when not needed to extend battery life.
- Allow the keyboard to enter auto-sleep mode when inactive.
