Starting and Stopping the Trimmer
To start the trimmer, press the safety button and then squeeze the trigger switch. To stop, release the trigger switch. Always ensure a firm grip on the handle.
Adjusting Length and Angle
The trimmer features an extendable telescopic shaft, adjustable from 49.6 inches to 57.5 inches. Loosen the locking collar on the shaft, adjust to your desired length, and then tighten the collar securely. The cutting head angle can also be adjusted for trimming or edging by pressing the angle adjustment button and rotating the head.

Trimming Operation
Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands. Keep the cutting head parallel to the ground and move it slowly and steadily across the area to be trimmed. Use a sweeping motion from side to side. The 12-inch cutting path allows for efficient coverage.
Edging Operation
To switch to edging mode, adjust the cutting head angle and engage the support wheels. Position the trimmer so the cutting line is vertical to the ground, guiding the wheels along the edge of your lawn, driveway, or flower beds. This helps create clean, defined borders.
Auto Line Feed
The trimmer features an automatic line feed system. The cutting line extends automatically as needed during operation, eliminating the need for manual bumping or adjustments. This ensures continuous trimming without interruption.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your trimmer.
- Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the battery and clean the trimmer housing and guard with a damp cloth. Remove any grass clippings or debris from the cutting head. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Line Replacement: When the cutting line runs out, replace the spool with a new DEGGE-approved spool line. Refer to the diagram on the spool for correct winding direction if manually rewinding.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Charge them periodically if not in use.
- Storage: Store the trimmer in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. The foldable design allows for compact storage.
