4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
- Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface in the desired room.
- Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around the air inlet and outlet for proper airflow.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas with excessive dust.
4.2 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (230V).
- Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
4.3 Water Drainage Options
The DH201 offers two drainage methods:
4.3.1 Manual Drainage (Water Tank)
- The unit will collect water in its 5.1-liter internal tank.
- When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate.
- Carefully pull out the water tank, empty it, and reinsert it firmly until it clicks into place.

4.3.2 Continuous Drainage (Hose)
- For continuous operation without emptying the tank, attach the included drainage hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit.
- Ensure the hose is routed downwards to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, large bucket) to allow gravity drainage.
- Verify that the hose is securely connected and free of kinks.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Control Panel Functions
The control panel features a digital display and several buttons for various functions:
- Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
- Humidity Setting: Adjusts the desired humidity level (30% - 80% Relative Humidity).
- Timer Button: Sets the operating time (1-24 hours) for automatic shut-off.
- Fan Speed: Selects between two fan speeds (Low/High).
- Sleep Mode: Reduces fan speed and dims display lights for quiet operation.
- Child Lock: Locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes.

5.2 Setting Desired Humidity
- Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
- Press the "Humidity Setting" button repeatedly to cycle through desired humidity levels (e.g., 40%, 50%, 60%). The unit will operate until the room humidity reaches the set level, then cycle on/off to maintain it.
- The digital display will show the current room humidity.

5.3 Adjusting Fan Speed
The unit offers two fan speeds to control airflow and dehumidification rate.
- Press the "Fan Speed" button to toggle between Low and High settings.
- High speed provides faster dehumidification, while Low speed offers quieter operation.

5.4 Laundry Drying Mode
This mode is designed to help dry clothes faster indoors by continuously removing moisture from the air.
- Place the dehumidifier in the room where clothes are drying.
- Select the "Dehumidify Mode" and choose the highest fan speed for optimal results.
- Ensure the room is well-sealed to maximize efficiency.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
6.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
- Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
