3.2 Auto-Lock and One-Touch Locking

  • Auto-Lock: The lock can be set to automatically lock after a delay of 10-99 seconds. This feature is disabled by default and can be configured.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Installation and Life

The lock requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Under normal use, batteries can last up to 13 months.

4.2 Low Battery Indicator

A low-battery indicator will alert you when the battery level drops below 20%, providing ample time for replacement.

4.3 Emergency Access

Two backup keys are included for emergency manual access in case of battery depletion or electronic malfunction.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Wrong Entry Limit

After 10 consecutive incorrect code entries, the lock will temporarily disable the keypad for 3 minutes to prevent unauthorized access.

5.2 Resetting the Lock

If you encounter issues or need to clear all programmed settings, you can perform a factory reset:

  1. Remove one battery from the interior assembly.
  2. Press and hold the Reset Button (located inside the battery compartment) for 5 seconds using the Reset Tool.
  3. While still holding the Reset Button, reinsert the battery.
  4. Continue holding the Reset Button until you hear a long beep and the latch bolt extends automatically. This indicates a successful reset.
