3. Setup

Connecting the Tester:
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories are disconnected.
- Locate the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the red test clip to the battery's positive (+) terminal.
- Connect the black test clip to the battery's negative (-) terminal.
- The tester will power on automatically, drawing power directly from the battery.

4. Operation
The KVB01 offers four main test modes. Use the navigation buttons (Up/Down arrows) to select a mode and the "M ENTER" button to confirm.
4.1. Battery Test
This test assesses the overall health and lifespan of the battery.
- From the main menu, select "Battery Test" and press "M ENTER".
- Input the battery's CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) rating. This can usually be found on the battery label. Use the arrow buttons to adjust the value and "M ENTER" to confirm.
- The tester will display results including State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), Voltage, CCA value, and Internal Resistance (RES).

4.2. Cranking Test
This test measures the battery's discharge performance during engine startup.
- From the main menu, select "Cranking Test" and press "M ENTER".
- Follow the on-screen prompts to start the engine.
- The tester will analyze the dynamic voltage during cranking and display the cranking voltage and standard voltage.

4.3. Charging Test
This test evaluates the performance of the vehicle's charging system (alternator).
- From the main menu, select "Charging Test" and press "M ENTER".
- Follow the on-screen prompts to start the engine and run it at idle.
- The tester will analyze the dynamic voltage, maximum voltage, and minimum voltage of the charging system.

4.4. Load Test
This test measures the alternator's performance under load.
- From the main menu, select "Load Test" and press "M ENTER".
- Follow the on-screen prompts to apply a load (e.g., turn on headlights, heater fan).
- The tester will display the dynamic voltage, minimum voltage, and standard voltage under load.

5. Maintenance
- Keep the tester clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the device in the provided storage bag when not in use to protect it from dust and damage.
- Avoid exposing the tester to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Regularly inspect the test cables and clips for any signs of damage or wear. Replace if necessary.
6. Troubleshooting
