1. Introduction
The Tomate MTM-909 Portable Digital TV is a compact and lightweight 9-inch television designed for versatile entertainment. It features an integrated ISDB-T digital tuner for receiving free-to-air channels, a rechargeable internal battery for portable use, and multimedia playback capabilities via USB and MicroSD. The PVR (Personal Video Recorder) function allows users to record TV programs directly to a compatible USB device.

3. Product Overview
3.1. Rear Panel Connections
The rear panel of the TV provides various ports for connectivity. Refer to the image below for identification.

- Antenna Input: Connect the external antenna for digital TV signal reception.
- USB Port: Connect USB flash drives for multimedia playback and PVR recording.

- AV IN: Connect external audio/video sources using the provided AV cable.

3.2. Bottom Panel Controls

3.3. Integrated Kickstand and Antenna

4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Battery
- Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the TV.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet (100-240V).
- The charging indicator will illuminate. Allow sufficient time for a full charge before initial portable use.
4.2. Connecting the Antenna
- For optimal digital TV reception, connect the provided external antenna to the Antenna Input port.
- Position the antenna for the best possible signal.
4.3. Powering On/Off
- Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or bottom) to turn the TV on or off.
- Alternatively, use the power button on the remote control.
4.4. Initial Channel Scan
- Upon first power-on, the TV may prompt you to perform an automatic channel scan. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- If not prompted, press the MENU button on the remote or TV, navigate to the 'Channel' or 'Setup' menu, and select 'Auto Scan' or 'Channel Search'.
- Ensure the antenna is properly connected and positioned during the scan.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic TV Operation
- Channel Selection: Use the CH+/CH- buttons on the remote or the up/down arrows on the TV to change channels. You can also enter channel numbers directly using the remote's numeric keypad.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the VOL+/VOL- buttons on the remote or the left/right arrows on the TV to adjust the volume.
- Mute: Press the MUTE button on the remote to mute or unmute the sound.
- Input Source: Press the SOURCE button on the remote or TV to cycle through available input sources (TV, AV, USB, MicroSD).
5.2. Media Playback (USB/MicroSD)
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB Port or a MicroSD card into the TV Card Slot.
- Press the SOURCE button and select 'USB' or 'MicroSD'.
- Navigate through the folders and files using the arrow buttons on the remote or TV.
- Select the desired media file (video, music, or image) and press ENTER to play/view.

5.3. PVR Recording
The PVR function allows you to record digital TV programs to a connected USB storage device.
- Ensure a formatted USB flash drive is inserted into the USB Port.
- While watching a digital TV channel, press the 'Record' button (often indicated by a red dot) on the remote control to start recording.
- Press the 'Stop' button (often indicated by a square) to end the recording.
- Recorded programs can be accessed and played back via the 'USB' source, usually within a 'PVR' or 'Record' folder.
5.4. AV Input Connection
Connect external devices such as DVD players or older gaming consoles using the AV input.
- Connect the AV cable (yellow for video, white for left audio, red for right audio) from your external device to the AV IN ports on the TV.
- Press the SOURCE button and select 'AV'.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the TV. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the TV for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% every few months.
- Storage: Store the TV in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Antenna: Handle the antenna carefully to prevent damage.
7. Troubleshooting
