It features a powerful 212cc 4-cycle engine, adjustable tilling width and depth, and dual-speed forward and reverse gears for enhanced maneuverability.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in serious injury or death.

  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear.
  • Keep children and pets away from the operating area.
  • Never operate the tiller under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Ensure the work area is clear of obstacles, rocks, and debris before starting.
  • Do not operate the tiller on excessively steep slopes.
  • Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any maintenance or adjustments.
  • Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Avoid spilling fuel.
  • The engine has a low oil automatic shutoff feature. Ensure proper oil levels before operation.

3. Assembly

The tiller requires some assembly before first use. It is recommended to have two people for assembly due to the weight and bulk of the unit.

3.1. Handlebar Assembly

Attach the handlebar assembly to the main unit. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened. The handlebar is 3-height adjustable for user comfort. Adjust it to a comfortable height to reduce back and arm fatigue during operation.

4. Initial Setup

4.1. Fuel and Oil

The 212cc 4-cycle engine uses a no-mix fuel system, meaning gasoline and oil are added to separate tanks. Refer to the engine manual for specific fuel and oil type recommendations.

  • Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. The fuel tank capacity is 3.6 liters.
  • Fill the oil reservoir with the recommended engine oil. Check the oil level before each use. The engine features an automatic shutoff for low oil levels.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tiller.

  • After Each Use: Clean soil and debris from the tines and engine housing. Inspect for any loose parts or damage.
  • Engine Oil: Check engine oil level before each use. Change oil according to the engine manufacturer's recommendations (typically after the first 5 hours, then every 25-50 hours).
  • Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter regularly, especially when operating in dusty conditions.
  • Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug periodically. Replace if worn or fouled.
  • Tines: Inspect tines for wear or damage. Replace worn tines to maintain tilling efficiency.
  • Cable Adjustment: Ensure clutch and throttle cables are properly adjusted for smooth operation.

7. Storage

For long-term storage, follow these steps:

  1. Clean the entire tiller thoroughly.
  2. Drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer to prevent fuel degradation.
  3. Change the engine oil.
  4. Remove the spark plug and pour a small amount of engine oil into the cylinder. Pull the starter cord a few times to distribute the oil, then reinstall the spark plug.
  5. Store the tiller in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
