2. Setup and Assembly

Your Tamobyke V20pro electric bike arrives approximately 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly and prepare for your first ride.

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the bike from its packaging. Inspect all components for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all parts listed in the packing list are present.

2.2 Battery Installation and Removal

The 48V 18.2AH lithium battery is removable for convenient charging and security. To remove the battery, unlock it with the provided key and slide it out from the frame. To install, slide it back into place until it clicks securely, then lock it.

2.3 Tire Inflation and Seating

3.2 Battery

The bike features a 48V 18.2AH removable lithium-ion battery, UL certified and protected by a Battery Management System (BMS). It offers a range of up to 80 miles in pedal-assist mode and charges in 6-8 hours.

3.3 LCD Display and Controls

  • Pure Electric Mode: Uses throttle only, no pedaling required.
  • Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): Motor provides assistance as you pedal. Features 5 levels of assistance.
  • Cruise Mode: Maintains a steady speed without continuous throttle input (1-5 levels).
  • Walk-Assist Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for walking the bike.
