2. Safety Information

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires 1-2 adults and takes approximately 1 hour. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Base Frame: Connect the main PE wicker and iron frame sections using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are finger-tightened initially.
3. Attach Adjustable Feet: Screw the adjustable feet into the designated holes on the bottom of the frame. Adjust them later to ensure stability.
4. Install Canopy Supports: Secure the canopy support rods to the frame according to the diagram in the separate installation manual (if provided).
5. Attach Canopy Fabric: Drape and secure the retractable canopy fabric onto its support structure. Ensure it can slide smoothly.
6. Place Cushions and Pillows: Position the large seat cushions onto the daybed frame. Arrange the 5 pillows for comfort.
7. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, fully tighten all bolts with the Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Retractable Canopy

The daybed features a retractable canopy for adjustable shade. To extend the canopy, gently pull it forward until it reaches the desired position. To retract, push it back towards the rear of the daybed. Ensure smooth movement and avoid forcing the mechanism.

5.2. Convertible Design

This daybed offers a versatile 2-in-1 design, allowing it to function as a full round daybed or split into two separate seating units (a sofa and an ottoman). To convert, carefully separate the two main sections of the daybed. Ensure the sections are placed on a stable surface when separated.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your daybed.

• Cushions: The polyester fabric covers are removable and washable. Spot clean minor spills with a mild soap solution. For deeper cleaning, remove covers and machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water, then air dry. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
• PE Wicker Frame: Clean the wicker with a soft cloth, mild soap, and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Iron Frame: Inspect the iron frame periodically for any signs of rust. Clean with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
• Canopy: Spot clean the canopy fabric as needed. Ensure it is dry before retracting for extended periods to prevent mildew.
• Storage: During off-season or prolonged periods of non-use, store cushions indoors. Consider using a weather-resistant cover for the entire daybed to protect it from the elements.
