4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the trackball mouse. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the Type-C port on the mouse and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off once fully charged.
4.2 Power On/Off
Locate the power switch on the side of the device. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the mouse. Slide it to the 'OFF' position when not in use to conserve battery.
4.3 Connectivity
The mouse supports two connection modes: 2.4G Wireless and Bluetooth.
4.3.1 2.4G Wireless Connection
- Insert the USB-A 2.4G wireless receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
- Power on the trackball mouse.
- The device should automatically connect. If not, ensure the mouse is in 2.4G mode (refer to operating instructions for mode switching).
4.3.2 Bluetooth Connection
- Power on the trackball mouse.
- Activate Bluetooth on your host device (e.g., laptop, tablet, smartphone).
- To enter pairing mode, press and hold the designated Bluetooth pairing button combination (refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for specific button functions). The indicator light will flash, indicating it's ready to pair.
- On your host device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "HG66" (or similar device ID) from the list.
- Once paired, the indicator light will stop flashing.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Wearing the Device
Wear the trackball mouse on your middle finger. Your thumb will control the trackball and the left/right buttons, while your index finger will control the middle button.

- Trackball: Rolling the trackball moves the cursor. Pressing the trackball functions as the left mouse button.
- Right Button:
- Click for right-click function.
- In trackball wheel mode, press and hold for 3 seconds to switch the wheel speed.
- Middle Button: Provides a middle-click function.
- Trackball Function Switch Button:
- Click to switch the trackball between cursor movement mode and scroll wheel function mode.
- Press and hold this button while scrolling the trackball forward and backward to adjust the volume.
5.3 DPI Adjustment
The mouse features a DPI button (often integrated with another button, refer to Figure 5.2). Press this button to cycle through DPI settings: 400, 600, 800, and 1200 DPI. Adjust the DPI to match your preference for cursor speed and precision.

6. Maintenance

7. Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting:
- Ensure the device is powered on and fully charged.
- For 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted.
- For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your host device and the mouse is in pairing mode. Try re-pairing.
- Check if the mouse is within the 10-meter operating range.
- Cursor movement is erratic or unresponsive:
- Ensure the trackball is clean and free of debris.
- Apply a slight amount of pressure when rolling the trackball for consistent movement.
- Adjust the DPI setting to a suitable level.
- Ensure the battery is not critically low.
- Buttons not responding:
