3. Setup
- Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the port on the keyboard.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard is plug-and-play and should be recognized automatically by your operating system.
- Adjust the keyboard's height using the integrated kickstands on the underside for ergonomic comfort.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Key Layout
The K500-B68 features a compact 68-key ABNT2 layout. Due to its compact size, some functions are accessed via the Function (Fn) key in combination with other keys.

4.2. Function (Fn) Key Combinations
Press and hold the Fn key, then press the desired key to activate its secondary function:
- Fn + F1-F12: Access multimedia controls (e.g., volume, media playback) and system functions (e.g., calculator, browser). Specific functions may vary.
- Fn + Right Shift: Cycle through various RGB lighting modes.
- Fn + Up Arrow: Increase RGB lighting brightness.
- Fn + Down Arrow: Decrease RGB lighting brightness.
- Fn + Left Arrow: Decrease RGB lighting effect speed.
- Fn + Right Arrow: Increase RGB lighting effect speed.
- Fn + Win: Lock or unlock the Windows key to prevent accidental presses during gaming.
- Fn + Esc: (Hold for 3-5 seconds) Reset keyboard to factory default settings.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Keyboard
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the keyboard surface regularly.
- For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps and use compressed air to clear dust and debris from between the switches.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or keycap legends.
5.2. Keycap Removal and Reinstallation
- Gently attach the keycap puller to the keycap you wish to remove.
- Pull straight up with even pressure until the keycap detaches from the switch stem.
- To reinstall, align the keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
5.3. Switch Replacement
The K500-B68 supports 3-pin mechanical switches.
- First, remove the keycap using the keycap puller.
- Use the provided switch puller to grip the top and bottom clips of the switch.
- Gently squeeze the clips and pull the switch straight up from the PCB.
- To install a new switch, ensure its 3 pins are straight. Align the pins with the holes on the PCB.
- Press the new switch firmly into place until it is fully seated. Do not force it if resistance is met; check pin alignment.

6. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable. Restart your computer.
- Specific keys not working: If a single key is not registering, try removing and re-seating its keycap and switch. If the issue persists, the switch may need replacement.
- RGB lighting issues: Ensure the keyboard is properly connected. Cycle through lighting modes using Fn combinations. If issues persist, try resetting the keyboard to factory defaults (Fn + Esc, hold for 3-5 seconds).
- Ghosting or N-key rollover issues: The K500-B68 supports N-key rollover. Ensure your operating system and any gaming software are not interfering.
