3. Setup

  1. Battery Installation: The CW Key Trainer requires a single battery (not included) for operation. The device features a holder for a coin cell battery.

    • Locate the coin cell battery compartment on the underside of the device.
    • Insert a compatible coin cell battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

  2. Connect Your Key: Plug your Morse code key (vertical manual key, paddle, or semi-automatic key) into the 3.5mm audio jack on the trainer.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the battery is installed and your key is connected, the trainer is ready for use.

  1. Keying Practice: Operate your Morse code key as you normally would.
  2. Feedback:
    • Each time you press the key, the integrated buzzer will emit an audible tone.
    • Simultaneously, a green LED light will flash, providing visual confirmation of your key presses.
