Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the TOMLOV P50 microscope using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the microscope's charging port and a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

2. Inserting a Micro SD Card (Optional for Video Recording)

To record videos, a Micro SD card (not included) is required. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the microscope and gently insert the card until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.

3. Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button to turn on the microscope. The 2.4-inch IPS screen will illuminate, displaying the live view.

4. Connecting to PC/Mac

The TOMLOV P50 can be connected to a Windows PC or macOS computer for larger screen viewing. Use the provided USB cable to connect the microscope to your computer. Once connected, select the 'PC Camera' mode on the microscope's screen. Open your computer's camera application to view the microscope's feed.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

To power on, press and hold the power button until the screen lights up. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.

2. Adjusting Focus

Use the focus wheel located on the side of the microscope to adjust the image clarity. Rotate the wheel until the object on the screen appears sharp and in focus. Move the microscope closer or further from the object as needed to achieve the desired magnification and focus.

3. Adjusting LED Lighting

The microscope features 6 built-in LEDs with 4 brightness levels. Use the light adjustment button (often marked with a sun icon) to cycle through the brightness settings to optimize illumination for your subject.

4. Taking Photos and Recording Videos

To take a photo, press the dedicated photo button (usually a camera icon). To record a video, first ensure a Micro SD card is inserted. Then, switch to video mode (often by pressing the 'M' button) and press the record button. Press it again to stop recording.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Gently wipe the microscope's body with a soft, dry cloth. For the lens and screen, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

2. Storage

When not in use, store the microscope in its EVA case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This protects the device from dust and physical damage.

3. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in constant use, to maintain battery health.
