1. Important Safety Information
Before operating your TODIMART D8 Electric Scooter, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference. Failure to follow the instructions and safety warnings could result in serious injury or damage to the scooter.
- Always wear a helmet and appropriate protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.
- Observe all local traffic laws and regulations regarding electric scooter usage.
- Do not ride in wet conditions, heavy rain, or through standing water. The scooter has an IP55 water resistance rating, meaning it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets, but it is not waterproof.
- Ensure the rider's weight does not exceed the maximum load capacity of 150 kg (330 lbs).
- This scooter is intended for adult use.
- Perform a pre-ride check before each use, including brakes, tire pressure, and battery level.
- Avoid sudden acceleration, braking, or sharp turns, especially at high speeds.
2. Setup and Assembly
Your TODIMART D8 Electric Scooter comes partially assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the scooter and all accessories from the packaging. Check for any visible damage or missing parts. Included components are the electric scooter, charger, tools, and this manual.
- Handlebar Attachment: Unfold the handlebar stem and secure it in the upright position. Attach the handlebars if they are separate, ensuring all connections are tight. The handlebar height is adjustable for rider comfort.
- Initial Charging: Before first use, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port and then to a power outlet. The charging time is approximately 7-8 hours for a full charge. Do not overcharge.
- Tire Pressure Check: Ensure the 10-inch pneumatic tires are inflated to the recommended pressure. Refer to the tire sidewall for specific pressure recommendations.
- Folding Mechanism: The scooter features a quick 3-second folding mechanism for easy storage and transport. To fold, locate the folding latch on the stem, release it, and carefully fold the stem down until it locks into place.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your scooter.
- Battery Care: Charge the battery regularly, even if the scooter is not in use for extended periods, to maintain battery health. Store the scooter in a cool, dry place.
- Tire Maintenance: Periodically check tire pressure and inflate as needed. Inspect tires for wear and tear or punctures.
- Brake Inspection: Regularly check the functionality of both front and rear disc brakes. Ensure brake levers are responsive and brake pads are not excessively worn. Adjust or replace components as necessary.
- Cleaning: Clean the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water jets or immerse the scooter in water. The IP55 rating protects against dust and low-pressure water, but not full immersion.
- Suspension System: The scooter features front and rear rubber shock absorber arms. Periodically inspect these for any damage or loss of effectiveness.
