Refer to the device's configuration file (accessible via computer) for instructions on how to enable and adjust the sensitivity of this feature.

File Management and Playback

Recordings are stored internally on the 32GB memory. To access and play back your recordings, connect the device to a computer (Mac or Windows PC) or an Android phone using the USB-C cable. The device will appear as a removable drive, allowing you to transfer, manage, and play audio files. The recorder supports MP3 and WAV formats. Earphones can also be connected for direct playback from the device.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Vandlion V11 Digital Voice Recorder, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
  • Storage: Store the recorder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Battery Care: To maintain battery health, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the device for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% capacity every few months.
  • Data Backup: Regularly back up important recordings to a computer or other storage device to prevent data loss.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Vandlion V11 Digital Voice Recorder, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Device Not Turning On: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the recorder to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 15 minutes before attempting to power it on again.
  • Cannot Record: Check if the memory is full. Connect to a computer and delete unnecessary files. Ensure the switch is firmly in the 'ON' position.
  • Poor Audio Quality/Background Noise: While the device features AI noise reduction, extreme environmental noise can still affect recording quality. Try recording in a quieter environment. Ensure the microphone is not obstructed.
  • Cannot Connect to Computer: Try a different USB-C cable or a different USB port on your computer. Ensure the device is powered on when connecting.
  • Resetting the Device: If the device becomes unresponsive, locate the small 'RESET' pinhole (refer to the diagram below) and gently press it with a thin object (like a paperclip) to restart the device.
