2. Package Contents

3. Setup

  1. Connect the Keyboard: Plug the Type-C end of the provided cable into the keyboard's port and the USB-A end into an available USB port on your computer (Laptop or PC). The keyboard is plug-and-play and should be recognized automatically by your operating system.
  2. Adjust Tiltable Stand: The keyboard features a dual-angle tiltable stand on its underside. Extend these stands to adjust the typing angle for improved ergonomics.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

The FINGERS Savage-MK2 keyboard functions immediately upon connection. Simply begin typing or using the keys as required. The 65% compact layout provides essential keys while saving desk space.

4.2 RGB Lighting Modes

The keyboard features 11 distinct RGB lighting effects. You can cycle through these modes and adjust brightness:

  • Cycle Modes: Use the multifunction control knob (see section 4.3) or specific key combinations (refer to keyboard legends if available) to switch between the 11 RGB modes.

4.6 Anti-Ghosting and N-Key Rollover

The keyboard supports 100% anti-ghosting and N-key rollover. This ensures that every keypress is registered accurately, even when multiple keys are pressed simultaneously during rapid commands or complex gaming combinations.

4.7 Windows Lock Key and Multimedia Keys

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the keyboard.
  • For dust and debris between keycaps, use compressed air or a small brush.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.2 Keycap Replacement

To replace keycaps:

  1. Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove the desired keycap by hooking it onto the keycap and pulling upwards.
  2. Align the new keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place. The double injection moulded keycaps ensure durability and fade resistance.

5.3 Switch Replacement

To replace switches (due to the hot-swappable design):

  1. First, remove the keycap using the keycap puller.
  2. Use the switch puller to grasp the switch firmly on its top and bottom clips. Gently rock and pull the switch upwards to remove it from the PCB.
  3. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.
  4. Press the new switch down firmly until it seats correctly. Replace the keycap.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Keyboard Not Responding

  • Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
  • Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
  • Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out a computer-specific issue.
  • Check if the cable is damaged. If so, try a different Type-C cable.

6.2 RGB Lights Not Working

  • Ensure the keyboard is properly connected and receiving power.
  • Use the multifunction control knob to cycle through RGB modes and adjust brightness.
  • If specific keys are not lighting up, consider replacing their switches as per section 5.3.

6.3 Keys Not Registering

  • Verify the keyboard is connected correctly.
