Safety Information

Your safety and the safety of others are paramount. Always follow these safety precautions when operating the generator.

General Safety Warnings

  • Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide, an odorless, colorless gas that can kill. Operate the generator outdoors only, far away from windows, doors, and vents.
  • Fire Hazard: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke or allow open flames near the generator.
  • Electrical Shock Hazard: Do not operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all electrical connections are secure and dry.
  • Hot Surfaces: The generator's engine and muffler become hot during operation and remain hot for a period after shutdown. Avoid contact with hot surfaces.

Integrated Safety Features

This generator is equipped with several safety features for your protection:

  • CO Shield: Automatically shuts down the generator if carbon monoxide levels become dangerously high.
  • Low Oil Shutdown: Prevents engine damage by automatically shutting off the engine if the oil level drops below a safe operating threshold.
  • Overload Protection: Protects the generator and connected devices from damage due to excessive load.

Setup

Before first use, perform the following setup steps:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Add Engine Oil: Locate the oil fill cap. Add the recommended engine oil (refer to specifications for type and capacity) until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
  3. Add Fuel: Ensure the generator is on a level surface and the engine is off and cool. Open the fuel cap and carefully add fresh, unleaded gasoline (minimum 87 octane) to the fuel tank. Do not fill above the maximum fill line. Securely close the fuel cap.
  4. Positioning: Place the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors, away from any combustible materials, and with adequate ventilation.

Operating Instructions

Starting the Generator

  1. Ensure the generator is properly set up and fueled.
  2. Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
  3. If the engine is cold, apply choke as needed.
  4. Press and hold the Electric Start button until the engine starts. Release the button once the engine is running.
  5. Once the engine is running smoothly, gradually open the choke (if used).

Connecting Devices

The generator features multiple outlets:

  • One 120V 30A RV outlet
  • Two 120V 20A household outlets
  • USB ports (5V 1A, 5V 2.1A)
  • One DC 12V outlet

Connect your devices to the appropriate outlets. Ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed the generator's running wattage (3800W) to prevent overload.
