3. Setup

Unfolding the Scooter:

1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
2. Locate the folding mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem.
3. Release the latch and carefully lift the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position. Ensure it is securely fastened.
4. Adjust the handlebar height to a comfortable level by loosening the clamp, extending the stem, and then re-tightening the clamp.

Initial Charging:

Before first use, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the charging port on the scooter and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator will show when charging is complete (typically 4-5 hours).

4. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

• To power on, press and hold the power button on the display until the screen illuminates.
• To power off, press and hold the power button until the display turns off.

Speed Modes:

The scooter offers multiple speed modes: ECO, D (Drive), and S (Sport). Press the power button briefly to cycle through these modes. Each mode offers a different maximum speed and acceleration profile.

• ECO Mode: Lower speed for extended battery life and beginner riders.
• D Mode: Medium speed for balanced performance.
S Mode: Highest speed for experienced riders and maximum performance.

Acceleration and Braking:

• To accelerate, gently press the throttle lever.
• To brake, use the hand lever for the electronic front brake and the rear mechanical drum brake. Apply both brakes simultaneously for optimal stopping power.

Headlights and Taillights:

Press the power button twice quickly to turn the front headlight and rear taillight on or off. Always use lights when riding in low-light conditions.

Cruise Control:

To activate cruise control, maintain a consistent speed for a few seconds. The scooter will emit a beep and the cruise control indicator will light up. To deactivate, press the throttle or brake lever.

Smartphone App Control:

Download the official WERHY app to unlock additional features, including real-time speed monitoring, riding mode adjustments, digital lock, and brightness control for the display.

Battery Care:

• Charge the battery regularly, even if the scooter is not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
• Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.
• Store the scooter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• The battery features overload protection to prevent damage from overcharging.

Tire Care:

The WERHY Electric Scooter is equipped with 8.5-inch solid tires, which are maintenance-free and do not require inflation. Regularly inspect tires for any signs of wear or damage.

Cleaning:

Wipe the scooter clean with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water jets or immerse the scooter in water.
