  1. Power On: Press and hold the On/Off button to turn on the meter.
  2. Insert Code Card (if needed): Insert the code card from the test strip vial, read the code, and then pull out the code card. (This step is not needed for subsequent tests from the same vial).
  3. Insert Test Strip: Turn on the hemoglobin meter and insert a test strip into the Test Strip Inlet.
  4. Prepare Lancing Device: Draw a blood sample using the lancing device and lancet included in the package. (Refer to "Blood Collection Steps" below for detailed instructions).
  5. Apply Blood Sample: When the flashing blood drop symbol appears on the screen, press the top of the test strip and place the blood sample close to the sample entry port of the test strip. The sample will automatically be drawn into the port.
  6. Read Results: Read the test results within 20 seconds on the LCD screen.

  1. Wash Hands: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, then dry them completely.
  2. Prepare Lancing Device: Pull off the pen cap of the lancing device and insert a new lancet into the fixed frame.
  3. Secure Lancet: Screw down the blood collection needle cap onto the lancing device.

Before Use:

  • Ensure the test strips are not contaminated, damp, or expired.
  • Clean and dry your hands to ensure the blood won't be contaminated.

During Use:

  • Massage your finger for 10 seconds and lower your arm for 5 seconds before blood sample collection.
  • Ensure the blood sample is sufficient each time (10uL micro-sample).
  • Avoid touching the contact bar and absorbent hole of the test strip.
