Setup

1. Charging the Camera and Dock

Before initial use, fully charge both the camera and the charging dock. The camera has a built-in 800mAh battery, providing up to 2 hours of recording. The 1600mAh charging dock extends recording time up to 7 hours.

  • Connect the USB cable to the charging dock and a power source.
  • Place the W3 camera into the charging dock.
  • Charging indicators will show the charging status. Ensure both are fully charged for optimal performance.

2. Powering On/Off

To power on the camera, press and hold the power button located on the side of the device until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen shuts down.

3. Using the Waterproof Case

For underwater activities or protection in wet conditions, place the camera inside the provided waterproof case. Ensure the case is properly sealed before submerging. The case allows the camera to be waterproof up to 30 meters (132 feet).

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Recording

Once powered on, the camera is ready to record. Use the dedicated recording button or the touchscreen interface to start and stop video recording. The camera records in 1080p resolution.

2. Touch Screen Controls

The 1.47-inch smart touch screen provides an intuitive interface. Swipe, tap, and pinch gestures can be used to navigate menus, adjust settings, preview footage, and control recording functions.

5. Video Playback

Recorded videos can be played back directly on the camera's touch screen. Alternatively, connect the camera to a computer using the USB cable to transfer and view files. The camera supports MOV video format.

6. Storage Capacity

The camera comes with 64GB of built-in storage, allowing for ample recording time. For reference, 64GB can store approximately 95 hours of footage (fragmented into 10-minute segments, totaling 570 videos).

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and image quality, regularly clean the camera lens and screen. Use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth (not directly to the lens).
