Using the Drawers
The HOMCOM filing cabinet features three spacious drawers designed for efficient document storage. Each drawer is equipped with an adjustable hanging bar, making it ideal for organizing both A4 and letter-sized hanging files.

- Adjusting Hanging Bar: The internal hanging bar can be adjusted to accommodate different file sizes (A4 or Letter). Simply reposition the bar within the designated slots inside the drawer.

Central Locking Mechanism
For enhanced security, the filing cabinet is equipped with a central locking system. The top lock secures all three drawers simultaneously, protecting your important and private documents.
- To Lock: Ensure all drawers are fully closed. Insert the key into the lock on the top drawer and turn it clockwise until the lock engages. Remove the key.
- To Unlock: Insert the key into the lock and turn it counter-clockwise until the lock disengages. You can then open the drawers.
- Two keys are provided. Keep a spare key in a secure location.

Maintenance
The HOMCOM filing cabinet is constructed from robust powder-coated steel, designed for durability and easy maintenance.
- Cleaning: Wipe the cabinet surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by drying with a clean cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
- Drawer Slides: If drawers become stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the drawer slides.
- Floor Protection: The non-slip feet protect your floor. Ensure they are intact and properly positioned.

- Lock is not engaging/disengaging:
- Ensure all drawers are fully closed before attempting to lock the cabinet.
