Light Modes

The SD11 offers four distinct light sources to suit various conditions:

  • 3000K Warm White (CRI 90): Provides natural color restoration, ideal for underwater photography and observing marine life with accurate colors.
  • 6500K Cool White: Offers long-range visibility and a bright, clear beam for general illumination.
  • 5000K Neutral White (Mixed): A balanced white light suitable for general utility and industrial use.
  • 660nm Red Light: Low-impact light for night diving, marine observation, and emergency signaling (steady or flashing).

Maintenance

1. O-Ring Care

The SD11 features a dual O-ring sealing system for superior waterproofing. To ensure longevity and prevent leaks:

  • Regularly inspect O-rings for cuts, cracks, or deformation.
  • Clean O-rings and their grooves after each dive to remove salt, sand, or debris.
  • Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings periodically to keep them supple and maintain a good seal.
  • Store the flashlight with the O-rings slightly loosened if not used for extended periods.

2. Cleaning

After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the flashlight thoroughly with fresh water. Wipe it dry with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

3. Storage

Store the dive light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) and recharge every few months to prolong battery life.
