Setup Guide

  1. Unpack the Purifier: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove Filter Packaging: Turn the unit upside down. Twist the base cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it. Take out the filter and remove all plastic packaging.
  3. Reinstall Filter: Place the unwrapped filter back into the unit. Ensure it is seated correctly.
  4. Secure Base Cover: Replace the base cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.
  5. Position the Purifier: Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of space around all sides for optimal airflow.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the unit and then into a standard electrical outlet.

  • Power On/Off: Touch the power icon () on the top panel to turn the unit on or off.
  • Auto Mode: Press the 'AUTO' button. The purifier will automatically detect the air quality (PM2.5 levels) and adjust the fan speed accordingly. The color ring will change to reflect the air quality: Green (Excellent), Blue (Good), Amber (Fair), Red (Poor).
  • Fan Speed Adjustment: In manual mode, press the 'SPEED' button to cycle through different fan speeds (Low, Medium, High).
  • Sleep Mode: Activate Sleep Mode by pressing the 'LIGHT' button until the moon icon is illuminated. In this mode, the fan operates at its lowest, quietest setting (20 dB), and all display lights are turned off for an undisturbed sleep environment.
  • Timer Function: Press the 'TIMER' button to set the operating duration. You can select intervals from 1 to 24 hours. The unit will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

Maintenance

Filter Replacement

The ECOSELF HAP609 Air Purifier uses a 3-stage filter system that requires periodic replacement to maintain optimal performance. The filter life depends on usage and air quality.

  1. Power Off: Always unplug the air purifier before performing any maintenance.
  2. Remove Base Cover: Turn the unit upside down and twist the base cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  3. Remove Old Filter: Carefully pull out the used filter.
  4. Install New Filter: Insert a new ECOSELF HAP609 replacement filter (ensure all packaging is removed) into the unit.
  5. Secure Base Cover: Replace the base cover and twist clockwise to lock it.
  6. Reset Filter Indicator: After replacing the filter, plug in the unit and press and hold the 'RESET' button for 3 seconds to reset the filter life indicator.
