1. From Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button until "TMR" or "TIMER" appears.
2. Press and hold the ADJUST button until the current timer setting starts to flash.
3. Use the MODE button to select the hour or minute setting.
4. Use the REVERSE and FORWARD buttons to set the desired countdown time.
5. Press the ADJUST button to exit the setting mode.

1. From Timekeeping Mode, press the MODE button until "ALM" or "ALARM" appears.
