Setup

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all griddle components and packaging materials from the box. Ensure no parts are missing or damaged.
  2. Choose a Location: Place the griddle on a stable, level, non-combustible surface outdoors, away from any flammable materials or structures. Ensure adequate ventilation.

  4. Insert Grease Cup: Slide the removable grease cup into its designated slot at the front or rear of the griddle unit. This collects excess oil during cooking.

  5. Connect Propane Tank:
    • Ensure the griddle's control knobs are in the "OFF" position.
    • Connect the propane adapter hose to the griddle's gas inlet.
    • Connect the other end of the hose to a 1 lb propane cylinder or a 20 lb gas tank (using an appropriate adapter if necessary).
    • Tighten all connections by hand. Do not overtighten.
    • Perform a leak test: Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten connections or replace parts as needed. Do not operate the griddle if a leak is detected.

Operating Instructions

  1. Pre-heating:
    • Ensure all control knobs are in the "OFF" position.
    • Slowly open the gas supply valve on the propane tank.
    • Push in and turn one control knob counter-clockwise to the "HIGH" position.
    • Press the electronic ignition button repeatedly until the burner lights. You should hear a clicking sound and see a flame.
    • If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the knob to "OFF", wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and repeat the lighting procedure.
    • Repeat for the second burner.
    • Close the griddle lid (if applicable) and allow the griddle to preheat for 5-10 minutes.

  2. Temperature Control: Adjust the control knobs between "LOW" and "HIGH" to achieve the desired cooking temperature for your food. The dual burners allow for different temperature zones.
  3. Cooking: Place food directly on the preheated griddle surface.
  4. Shutting Down:
    • When finished cooking, turn all control knobs to the "OFF" position.
    • Close the gas supply valve on the propane tank.
    • Allow the griddle to cool completely before cleaning or moving.

  1. Cleaning the Griddle Plate:

  4. Storage:

    • Disconnect the propane tank.

    • Consider using a griddle cover (not included) to protect it from dust and moisture.
