4. Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your slow juicer:

1. Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface.
2. Align the juicing assembly (which includes the auger, strainer, and rotating brush) with the motor base and gently push down until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely locked.
3. Insert the auger into the center of the strainer.
4. Place the feeding chute lid onto the juicing assembly. Rotate it clockwise until it locks securely. You should hear a click. The juicer will not operate if the lid is not properly locked.
5. Position the juice container under the juice spout and the pulp container under the pulp spout.

Before first use, wash all detachable parts thoroughly with warm soapy water and rinse well. Ensure all parts are dry before assembly.

5.1 Ingredient Preparation

• Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
• For most fruits and vegetables, pre-cutting is not necessary due to the 125 mm XL feeding chute. Whole apples, pears, or celery stalks can be inserted directly.
• Remove hard pits from fruits (e.g., peaches, plums, cherries) and large seeds.
• Peel citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits) as their peels can impart a bitter taste.
• Cut fibrous ingredients like ginger or leafy greens into smaller pieces to prevent tangling.

5.2 Juicing Process

1. Ensure the juicer is correctly assembled and the juice and pulp containers are in place.
2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (230 Volts).
3. Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position.
4. Gradually feed prepared ingredients into the feeding chute. Use the safety pusher to gently guide ingredients down. Do not force ingredients.
5. The juicer will extract juice into the juice container and separate pulp into the pulp container.
6. If ingredients become blocked, turn the switch to the 'REV' (Reverse) position for a few seconds to clear the blockage, then switch back to 'ON'.
7. Once juicing is complete, turn the power switch to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.
