2. Leveling

Plug the refrigerator into a dedicated 110-volt grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
4. Initial Cooling
After plugging in, allow the refrigerator to cool for at least 2-4 hours before placing food inside. This allows the internal temperature to stabilize.

1. Temperature Control
The refrigerator features an adjustable thermostat with 7 settings. Turn the dial inside the refrigerator compartment to select your desired temperature. Setting '1' is the warmest, and '7' is the coldest. Adjust the setting based on the amount of food stored and ambient room temperature.

Maintenance
1. Defrosting
This refrigerator features a manual defrost system. When frost accumulates to about 1/4 inch thick in the freezer compartment, it's time to defrost:
- Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet.
- Remove all food items from both compartments and store them in a cooler to prevent spoilage.
- Leave the doors open to allow frost to melt naturally. You can place towels at the bottom to absorb water.
- Once all frost has melted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
- Plug the refrigerator back in and allow it to cool for a few hours before returning food.
Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to remove frost, as this can damage the cooling system.
2. Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene and efficiency:
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Wash the interior with a mild detergent and warm water solution. Use a soft cloth or sponge.
- Clean removable shelves and the crisper drawer with warm, soapy water.
- Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. For stainless steel surfaces, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner.
- Ensure all parts are dry before plugging the refrigerator back in.
Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please check the following common issues:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator does not operate. | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; temperature control set to "OFF". | Ensure plug is secure; reset circuit breaker; turn temperature control to a desired setting. |
| Temperature is not cold enough. | Door opened too frequently; large amount of warm food added; poor air circulation; temperature control set too warm. | Minimize door openings; allow warm food to cool before placing inside; ensure proper clearance around unit; adjust temperature control to a colder setting. |
| Excessive noise. | Refrigerator not level; contact with wall/cabinet; loose parts. | Adjust leveling feet; move unit away from obstructions; check for loose components. |
| Water on floor. | Drain pan overflowing (during defrost); door not sealing properly. | Ensure drain pan is correctly positioned; check door gasket for proper seal. |
