Welcome to the OUXI R7 Electric Bike user manual. This guide provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new electric bicycle. Please read this manual thoroughly before your first ride to ensure optimal performance and safety.

2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear when riding. Familiarize yourself with local e-bike regulations.

• Pre-Ride Check: Before each ride, inspect brakes, tires, battery, and all fasteners.
• Helmet Use: Always wear a certified helmet.
• Visibility: Use front and rear lights, especially during low light conditions.
• Weather Conditions: Exercise caution in wet or slippery conditions.
• Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 330 pounds.

3. Setup and Assembly

Your OUXI R7 Electric Bike arrives 85% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly. A tool kit is included.

3.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the electric bike from its packaging. Inspect all components for any signs of damage during transit.

3.2 Adjusting the Stem and Handlebar

Loosen the three bolts on the stem, turn the e-bike stem forward 180 degrees, and then tighten the three bolts. Loosen the four screws on the handlebar clamp, place the handlebar on the stem, adjust the angle to ensure it is level, and then tighten the four screws.

3.3 Installing the Front Wheel

Remove the fixing rod from the front fork. Align the front fork with the axle in the center of the front wheel. Insert the black quick release lever into the axle hole in the center of the wheel and lock the clamp securely.

3.4 Installing the Headlight and Front Fender

Loosen the screw on the front fork using the included tool. Attach the front fender and headlight in place. Tighten the screw and adjust the angle of the headlight for optimal visibility. Connect the headlight's connector to the main wire.

3.5 Installing the Pedals

Identify the left pedal (marked "L") and install it by turning counterclockwise. Identify the right pedal (marked "R") and install it by turning clockwise. Ensure both pedals are securely tightened.

3.6 Installing the Seat and Rear Reflector

Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the seat to a suitable height for comfortable riding. Secure the quick-release clamp. Place the non-slip band inside the half circle of the rear seat tube, then attach the warning light and tighten the screws.

3.7 Installing the Battery and Initial Charge

Carefully slide the 48V 13Ah removable battery into its compartment on the bike frame. Ensure it clicks securely into place. Before your first ride, fully charge the battery using the provided charger. The charger light will show "red" while charging and turn "green" when fully charged.

3.8 Inflating the Tires

Unscrew the lug nuts and inflate the 20" x 4.0" fat tires to the recommended pressure using a pump. Refer to the tire sidewall for specific pressure recommendations.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off and Display Functions

To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD display. The display shows speed, battery level, PAS (Pedal Assist System) level, and distance. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust PAS levels.

4.2 Riding Modes

The OUXI R7 offers multiple riding modes:

• Throttle Mode: Engage the throttle for motor-only propulsion.
• Pedal Assist Mode (5 levels): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Adjust the level of assistance using the display.
• Booster Mode: Provides an extra boost of power.
• Cruise Mode: Maintains a set speed without continuous throttle input.
• Normal Bike Mode: Ride without any electrical assistance.

4.3 Gear Shifting

4.4 Braking System
