1. Introduction
The VEVOR Deionized Water System is designed to provide spot-free rinsing for vehicles, RVs, motorcycles, windows, and other surfaces. By removing dissolved minerals and ions from water, it eliminates water spots upon drying, reducing the need for manual wiping and saving time and effort. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use and maintenance of your deionized water system.

2. What's in the Box
Carefully unpack the box and ensure all items listed below are present and undamaged. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact VEVOR customer support.

3. Setup Instructions
The VEVOR Deionized Water System is designed for user-friendly setup. Follow these steps to prepare your system for use:
- Attach Carry Handle: Securely attach the provided carry handle to the top of the deionizer unit. This handle aids in portability.
- Apply Protective Sleeve: Place the protective sleeve around the deionizer tank. This helps protect the unit during use and transport.
- Connect Hoses: Identify the inlet and outlet ports on the deionizer. Use the appropriate US or EU standard connectors and thread seal tape to connect your water source (e.g., garden hose) to the inlet and your spray nozzle or pressure washer to the outlet. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Initial Flush: Before first use, run regular tap water through the system for a few minutes to flush out any loose resin particles.

4. Operating Instructions
The VEVOR Deionized Water System is intended for the final rinse stage only to achieve a spot-free finish. Do not use deionized water for initial washing or soap application.
- Pre-Rinse: First, rinse your car or surface thoroughly with regular tap water to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Wash: Apply your preferred car wash soap using regular tap water.
- Initial Rinse: Rinse off all soap residue from the car with regular tap water.
- Final Deionized Rinse: Connect the VEVOR Deionized Water System for the final rinse. Use a fine mist of deionized water to thoroughly rinse the entire surface. Ensure complete coverage.
- Air Dry: After the final deionized rinse, allow the car or surface to air dry naturally. No wiping is required, and the surface will dry spot-free.

Water Capacity and Usage
The system contains 5L of premium mixed-bed resin. Under average water conditions (200 ppm TDS), it delivers up to 200 Gallons (757 L) of purified water. Actual capacity may vary based on your local water's Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) level and flow rate.
- Car Wash: Approximately 4-5 gallons per wash.
- RV Wash: Approximately 15-20 gallons per wash.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your VEVOR Deionized Water System.
TDS Meter Usage
The included TDS meter allows you to monitor the water quality. Periodically test the TDS level of the water exiting the deionizer. For optimal spot-free results, the TDS reading should be below 15 ppm. Acceptable results can be achieved between 15-50 ppm. If the reading is above 50 ppm, water spots may appear, indicating the resin is nearing exhaustion.
Resin Replacement
Replacement of the mixed-bed resin is recommended when the TDS meter reads around 30 ppm or higher. The filter tank is designed for convenient resin refilling.
- Disconnect System: Turn off the water supply and disconnect the deionizer from all hoses.
- Open Tank: Carefully unscrew the top of the deionizer tank.
- Remove Old Resin: Dispose of the exhausted resin. Resin is non-hazardous and can typically be disposed of as regular waste per local regulations.
- Rinse Tank: Rinse the inside of the tank thoroughly with clean water.
- Add New Resin: Fill the tank with new mixed-bed deionization resin. Ensure not to overfill.
- Reassemble: Securely screw the top back onto the tank, ensuring the filter housing gasket is properly seated to prevent leaks.
- Flush System: Reconnect the system and flush with regular water for a few minutes to settle the new resin and remove any air.

6. Troubleshooting

- Q1: How much DI water can it produce?
- Output depends on local water TDS. It is filtered below 15 ppm for spot-free rinsing. Under average 200 ppm water conditions, it delivers up to 200 Gallons (757 L).
- Q2: Why are there still water spots after washing?
- This is usually due to incorrect use or exhausted resin. It is recommended to use city water at 1-2 GPM and apply DI water only for the final rinse. Check the TDS level of the output water; if it's above 50 ppm, the resin needs replacement.
- Q3: What TDS level is needed for spot-free results?
- Best results are achieved with TDS below 15 ppm. Acceptable results are between 15-50 ppm. Above 50 ppm, spots may appear.
- Q4: When should the resin be replaced?
