2. Safety Instructions

• Do not touch the internal high-voltage grid with fingers or metal objects, even when the device is off. The grid may retain a residual charge.

• Do not use the device near water or in wet environments. Avoid exposure to rain or splashing water.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

1. Locate the USB Type-C charging port on the device.
2. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the device and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

4. Allow approximately 2-4 hours for a full charge. The built-in 1200 mAh battery provides portable operation.

4.2 Placement

For optimal performance, consider the following placement guidelines:

5. Operating Instructions

The Endbug Mosquito Zapper features two operational modes:

5.1 Mosquito Trapping Mode

• Press the power button once to activate the mosquito trapping mode. The device will emit a 365mm UV light, which attracts mosquitoes.
• Insects attracted to the UV light will be eliminated upon contact with the 1000V high-voltage nickel-plated power grid.
• For best results, turn on the zapper a few hours before entering a room and close windows to prevent new insects from entering.

5.2 Night Light Mode

• Press the power button a second time to switch to the night light mode. The device will emit a warm, soft yellow light.
• This mode is ideal for ambient lighting when mosquito control is not required, providing a quiet accompaniment.

5.3 Power Off

• Press the power button a third time to turn off the device.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Device

• Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged from any power source before cleaning.
• Regularly clean the high-voltage grid and the insect collection tray (if applicable) to remove dead insects. A small brush (not included) can be used to gently sweep away debris from the grid.
• Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or abrasive cleaners, as this can damage the device.
• The lamp has a lifespan of 5000-8000 hours. If the UV light weakens significantly, the device may need replacement.

6.2 Storage

• Mosquitoes not being zapped:

  • Ensure proper placement: 3-5 feet high and away from human activity.
  • For indoor use, close windows and turn off other lights to maximize the attraction of the UV light.
• Reduced effectiveness: The UV lamp's effectiveness may decrease over time. The lamp has a lifespan of 5000-8000 hours.
