Operating Instructions
Battery Installation
The Vortex Triumph Red Dot Sight uses a CR2032 battery. To install or replace the battery, locate the battery compartment on the side of the sight. Unscrew the cap, insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outward, and then securely replace the cap. Ensure the cap is finger-tight to maintain the waterproof seal.
Illumination Settings
The sight features a rotary dial for adjusting the red dot's brightness. Rotate the dial to select from 9 daylight and 2 night-vision compatible illumination levels. Choose the appropriate setting for optimal visibility in your current environment.
Motion Activation
The red dot sight is equipped with motion activation technology. It will automatically power on when movement is detected. To conserve battery life, the sight will automatically shut off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Any subsequent motion will reactivate the red dot instantly.
Adjustments
The Triumph Red Dot Sight features precise windage and elevation adjustment turrets. These turrets allow for fine-tuning the point of impact to match your aiming point. Each click of the turret adjusts the point of impact by 0.5 MOA.

To adjust, remove the protective caps from the turrets. Use a small flathead screwdriver or the provided tool to rotate the turrets. Rotate the elevation turret (top) to adjust vertical aim and the windage turret (side) to adjust horizontal aim. Replace the caps after adjustment.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Vortex Triumph Red Dot Sight, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Lens Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the lens coatings.
- Storage: When not in use, store the red dot sight in a cool, dry place. Utilize the rubber cover to protect the lenses from dust and debris.
- Environmental Protection: The sight is waterproof, fogproof (nitrogen purged), and shockproof. While designed for durability, avoid unnecessary impacts or dropping the sight.
- Battery Check: Regularly check the battery level and replace the CR2032 battery as needed to ensure the red dot is functioning properly.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any operational issues or concerns with your Vortex Triumph Red Dot Sight, please consider the following general troubleshooting steps:
- Red Dot Not Powering On: Check the battery orientation and ensure the CR2032 battery is correctly installed. If the battery is depleted, replace it with a new one.
- Red Dot Appears Blurry or Distorted: Adjust the brightness levels to match ambient light. If the issue persists, it may indicate astigmatism in the viewer's eyes. Wearing corrective eyewear or observing the red dot through a smartphone camera can help verify clarity.
- Sight Not Holding Zero: Verify that all mounting screws are securely tightened. Check for any issues with the optic's adjustment screws.
