  • Ensure the outdoor sensor remains free of debris and moisture.

6. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

  • No Outdoor Reading:
    • Check if the outdoor sensor batteries are correctly installed or need replacement.
    • Ensure the sensor is within the 330ft/100m transmission range of the main unit.
    • Press and hold the 'DOWN' button on the main unit to manually search for the sensor.
    • Verify the sensor channel matches the one selected on the main unit (if multiple sensors are used).
  • Inaccurate Readings:
    • Ensure the outdoor sensor is placed in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or extreme moisture.
    • Allow 7-10 days for the weather forecast to calibrate for optimal accuracy.
  • Atomic Clock Not Synchronizing:
    • Ensure the main unit is placed away from large metal objects or electronic devices that might interfere with the WWVB signal.
    • Allow up to 24-48 hours for initial synchronization.
    • Manually set the time zone if automatic detection is not working.
  • Display Too Dim/Bright:
    • Press the 'LIGHT' button to adjust the brightness level.
    • Check if Night Mode is active if the display is off during certain hours.
