Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air conditioner from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Position the unit on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 30 cm of clear space around the unit for proper airflow. The integrated wheels allow for easy movement.
- Window Kit Installation:
- Attach the window sealing plate to the window opening. Adjust the plate length to fit your window.
- Secure the window kit in place to prevent air leakage.
- Exhaust Hose Connection:
- Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the adapter on the window sealing plate. Ensure a tight seal to expel hot air efficiently.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 220V electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
Operating Instructions
The unit can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the provided remote control.
Control Panel and Remote Control Functions:
- Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycles through Cooling, Dehumidification, and Fan modes.
- Temperature/Timer Buttons (Up/Down): Adjusts the desired temperature in Cooling mode or sets the timer duration.
- Fan Speed Button: Selects fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
- Timer Button: Activates the 24-hour timer function. Press to set the desired operating time.
- Sleep Mode: Reduces fan speed and noise for quieter operation, typically around 45 dB. Note that maximum operating noise levels may be higher.
Operating Modes:
- Cooling Mode: Select this mode for active cooling. Set the desired temperature using the Up/Down buttons. The unit will cool until the room reaches the set temperature.
- Dehumidification Mode: This mode removes excess moisture from the air. The fan operates at a low speed, and the cooling function is reduced. Ensure continuous drainage is set up if operating for extended periods in this mode.
- Fan Mode: This mode circulates air without cooling. Select the desired fan speed.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.
Air Filter Cleaning:
- The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Remove the filter from the back or side of the unit (refer to diagram in full manual for exact location).
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
Water Drainage:
- The unit collects condensate water during cooling and dehumidification.
- Manual Drainage: When the internal water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an indicator. Turn off the unit, place a shallow pan under the drain port, and remove the drain plug to empty the water.
- Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation in high humidity, attach a drain hose (not included) to the continuous drain port and direct it to a floor drain or suitable container.
Storage:
- Before storing, ensure the unit is completely drained of water.
- Clean the air filter and wipe down the exterior.
- Store the unit in a dry, upright position, preferably in its original packaging.
