4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Temperature Control

The refrigerator features a mechanical thermostat with 7 settings, allowing you to adjust the internal temperature from 1°C to 10°C. Higher numbers on the dial indicate colder temperatures.

  • Setting 1: Approximately 10°C (warmest)
  • Setting 7: Approximately 1°C (coldest)

Adjust the dial to your desired cooling level. It may take several hours for the refrigerator to reach the set temperature. Consider the ambient temperature and frequency of door openings when selecting a setting.

4.2 Interior LED Lighting

The refrigerator is equipped with an intelligent LED light that automatically illuminates the interior when the door is opened, providing clear visibility of stored items.

  • The 2 transparent door bins are suitable for bottles, cans, and smaller items.
  • Do not overload the shelves or door bins.
  • Ensure food items are properly sealed to prevent odor transfer and maintain freshness.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene and efficiency.

  1. Always unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.
  2. Interior: Wash the interior surfaces, shelves, and door bins with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  3. Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent. Wipe dry.
  4. Door Gasket: Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a proper seal.

5.2 Defrosting

This refrigerator features an automatic defrost system. Frost buildup on the back wall is normal and will melt periodically, with the water draining into an evaporation tray at the back of the unit.

  • Ensure the drain hole at the bottom of the back wall is clear to allow water to escape.
  • If excessive ice builds up (e.g., due to frequent door openings or high humidity), manually defrost by unplugging the unit and leaving the door open until the ice melts. Remove food items before manual defrosting.

5.3 Power Saving Tips

  • Avoid placing the refrigerator near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  • Do not open the door too frequently or leave it open for extended periods.
  • Allow hot foods to cool to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator.
  • Keep the door gasket clean and ensure it seals properly.
