Operating Instructions
This bunk bed is designed for sleeping. Ensure that users understand and follow these guidelines:
- Only one person should occupy the top bunk at a time.
- Use the ladder for entering and exiting the top bunk. Do not jump on or off the bed.
- Ensure the mattress on the top bunk is no more than 6 inches thick to maintain adequate guardrail height.

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and safety of your Bellemave bunk bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the powder-coated finish.
- Hardware Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) inspect all bolts, screws, and connections. Tighten any loose hardware using the provided Allen wrench.
- Structural Integrity: Check for any signs of wear, damage, or bending in the metal frame. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
- Anti-Tip Kit: Ensure the anti-tip safety kits remain securely fastened to the wall.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your bunk bed, refer to the following common solutions:
- Squeaking Noises: Squeaking often indicates loose hardware. Re-tighten all bolts and screws. Ensure plastic stoppers are correctly installed at connection points to prevent metal-on-metal friction.
- Instability/Wobbling: Check that all frame components are correctly aligned and all hardware is fully tightened. Verify that the anti-tip kits are properly installed and secured to the wall.
- Missing Parts: If you find any parts missing during assembly, do not proceed. Contact Bellemave customer support immediately for assistance.
