5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

1. Locate the DC 5V charging port on the side of the radio (refer to Figure 4.2).
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the radio's charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (5V, not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The charging indicator light (if present) will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
5. Allow approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge before first use.

5.2 Initial Power On

After charging, slide the power switch (usually located on the side or top) to the 'ON' position. The digital display will light up, and the radio will typically start in FM radio mode or the last used mode.

6.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control
