1. Introduction

Its features include an LED display, auto-clean function, and rapid freeze technology, eliminating the need for pre-frozen ingredients or ice. This manual provides essential information for safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of your machine.

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the appliance to prevent injury or damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Ensure the machine is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
  • Do not immerse the main unit in water or other liquids.
  • Keep hands and utensils out of the container during operation.
  • Unplug the machine from the power outlet before cleaning or when not in use.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • Do not operate the machine with a damaged cord or plug. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • Important Note: Do not tip the machine over. If it has been tipped, stand the machine upright for at least 2 hours before turning it on to allow the refrigerant to settle.

3. Product Components

Familiarize yourself with the parts of your VELPAX Slushie Machine:

  • Container: Transparent tank for ingredients.
  • Handle: For carrying or moving the machine.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
  2. Place the machine on a clean, dry, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the machine, especially near the air intake and outlets.
  3. If the machine was tipped during transport, let it stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with food:

  1. Remove the container and other removable parts (refer to Section 6.2).
  2. Wash these parts with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.
  3. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit.
  4. Reassemble all parts securely.

5. Operating Instructions

The VELPAX Slushie Machine features a streamlined 3-step process for making frozen drinks:

5.1 Preparing Ingredients

  • For optimal results, pre-chill your liquid ingredients before adding them to the machine.
  • Ensure all solid ingredients are thoroughly blended or crushed into a liquid form to prevent clogging the auger. The machine is not designed to handle solid chunks.
  • Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the container (68 oz liquid capacity). Overfilling may affect freezing speed and consistency.

5.2 Making a Frozen Drink (3-Step Process)

Three-step visual guide: Step 1 shows pouring liquid, Step 2 shows selecting a mode on the LED display, and Step 3 shows pulling the lever to dispense the drink.

  1. Step 1: Pour in the Liquid. Open the lid of the container and pour your prepared liquid ingredients into the tank. Ensure the liquid level is below the MAX line.
  2. Step 2: Select Mode. Plug in the machine. Use the LED Smart Display to select your desired mode from the 7-in-1 options (e.g., Slush, Spiked Slush, Milkshake, Soda, Frozen Juice, Frappe, Cold Drinks). You can also adjust the texture using the 9 adjustable settings to achieve your preferred consistency, from smooth to firm.
  3. Step 3: Enjoy. Once the drink reaches the desired consistency (indicated on the display), place a cup under the dispenser and gently pull down the lever to serve.

5.3 Quiet Operation

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your slushie machine.

6.1 Self-Cleaning Function

The machine is equipped with a one-touch self-cleaning function:

  1. After use, empty any remaining liquid from the container.
  2. Fill the container with clean water up to the MAX line.
  3. Select the 'Cleaning' mode on the LED display. The machine will run a cleaning cycle.
  4. Once the cycle is complete, dispense the cleaning water and rinse the container with fresh water.

6.2 Removable and Dishwasher-Safe Parts

Many parts of the machine are removable for thorough cleaning:

  • The container, auger, and other internal components can be easily detached.

  • Always ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling them into the machine.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your VELPAX Slushie Machine, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
