Setup Instructions

1. Assembly

Ensure all components are present and undamaged before assembly. Connect the high-pressure hose to the spray gun and the pressure washer unit. Secure all connections tightly.

2. Connecting the Water Supply

Your pressure washer supports two water supply methods:

  • Faucet Self-Priming: Connect a standard garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer and to a faucet. Ensure the inlet filter is clean and properly installed.
  • Bucket Set-Priming: For situations without a direct faucet connection, place the inlet hose with the filter into a bucket of clean water. Ensure the filter is fully submerged.

3. Connecting the Power Supply

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power cord is fully unwound to prevent overheating. Use the integrated cable hook for organized storage when not in use.

4. Attaching Spray Nozzles

Select the desired quick-connect nozzle and firmly insert it into the end of the spray gun wand until it clicks into place. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' for nozzle selection guidance.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Pressure Washer

Once the water and power supplies are connected, turn on the water faucet completely. Press the ON/OFF switch on the unit to the 'ON' position. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to release air from the system and allow water to flow steadily before starting the motor.

2. Using Quick-Connect Nozzles

The pressure washer includes four quick-connect nozzles, each designed for specific cleaning tasks:

  • 0° (Red): Provides a concentrated, high-pressure stream for stubborn stains and cracks. Use with caution on delicate surfaces.
  • 15° (Yellow): A powerful, narrow spray for intensive cleaning of concrete, brick, and hard surfaces.
  • 25° (Green): A medium-width spray suitable for general cleaning of decks, fences, and painted surfaces.
  • 40° (White): A wide, gentle spray ideal for cleaning cars, windows, and other delicate surfaces.

3. Using the Detergent Tank

Fill the 500ML detergent tank with appropriate pressure washer detergent. Attach the detergent tank to the spray gun. The pressure washer will automatically mix the detergent with water at a low pressure setting, ideal for applying soap to surfaces before rinsing.

4. Automatic Total Stop System (TSS)

The unit is equipped with an Automatic Total Stop System (TSS). This system automatically shuts off the pump when the trigger is released, saving energy and extending the pump's life. The pump restarts when the trigger is squeezed again.

5. Child Safety Lock

Always engage the child safety lock on the spray gun handle when the pressure washer is not in active use to prevent accidental spraying.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your pressure washer, please review the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Pressure: Check water supply, ensure hose is not kinked, clean inlet filter, ensure nozzle is clear.
  • Motor Not Starting: Check power connection, ensure outlet is functional, verify ON/OFF switch position, check for tripped circuit breaker.
  • Pulsating Pressure: Air in the pump (bleed air by squeezing trigger without nozzle), clogged nozzle, or insufficient water supply.

For issues not resolved by these steps, please contact LANCHEZ customer service.
