Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically takes 20-25 minutes. Follow these steps carefully:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Assemble the Stand Base: Connect the four leg bars to the central stand base using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
- Attach the Stand Pole: Insert the stand pole into the assembled base and secure it with the appropriate bolts.
- Unfold the Chair Basket: The egg chair basket is foldable. Carefully unfold it into its full shape.
- Attach the Hanging Chain: Connect one end of the hanging chain to the top of the chair basket and the other end to the hook on the stand pole using the carabiners. Ensure both connections are secure. The chain length can be adjusted for desired hanging height.
- Install Cushions: Place the seat cushion, back cushion, armrest cushions, and headrest pillow inside the chair basket. The headrest is secured by straps.
- Secure the Chair (Optional): For increased stability and to reduce swinging, use the provided straps to secure the back of the chair basket to the stand pole.

- Placement: This chair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. When placing outdoors, consider sheltered areas to protect it from extreme weather.
- Adjusting Height: The length of the hanging chain can be adjusted to customize the chair's height to your preference. Ensure the carabiners are securely fastened after adjustment.
- Stability Strap: If you prefer less movement, utilize the strap to secure the chair basket to the stand pole, as shown in the assembly section.

Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life of your ALAULM Egg Chair:
- Frame: The iron frame has an anti-rust coating. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Rattan: The brown hand-woven rattan is tough and wear-resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Cushions: The cushions are made with water-repellent and highly breathable fabric. Spot clean with a mild detergent and water. Allow to air dry completely. While water-repellent, it is recommended to bring cushions indoors during heavy rain or prolonged periods of non-use to preserve their quality.
- Storage: If not in use for extended periods, especially during harsh weather, the chair can be folded for easy storage. Store in a dry, protected area.
