Maintenance

Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain your keyboard's performance and appearance:

  • Use the Ducky Ducko brush to remove dust and debris from between keycaps.
  • For deeper cleaning, use the keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps and clean the switch area with compressed air or a soft cloth.
  • Wipe the keyboard surface with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Switch and Keycap Replacement

Thanks to the hot-swappable design, you can easily replace switches and keycaps:

  • Use the included keycap puller to gently remove keycaps.
  • Use a switch puller (not included, but commonly available) to carefully remove mechanical switches.
  • Align new switches with the PCB sockets and press firmly until they click into place.
  • Press new keycaps onto the switch stems.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected, or for wireless modes, check battery level and ensure the 2.4GHz dongle is plugged in or Bluetooth is paired correctly. Try restarting your computer.
  • Keys not registering: If specific keys are not working, try reseating the keycap and switch. If the issue persists, the switch may need replacement.
  • RGB lighting issues: Check the keyboard's lighting control key combinations. If using VIA, ensure lighting settings are correctly configured.
