Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your BalimoPet water fountain:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
- Rinse Components: Rinse the stainless steel bowl, filter tray, and pump thoroughly with water before first use. Do not use soap on the pump.
- Install Pump: Place the water pump at the bottom of the stainless steel bowl. Ensure the suction cups firmly attach to the base.
- Insert Filter: Place the filter into the filter tray. Ensure the filter is properly seated.
- Assemble Filter Tray: Position the filter tray over the pump, ensuring the pump's nozzle aligns with the opening in the tray.
- Fill with Water: Fill the stainless steel bowl with clean water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. The fountain has a capacity of 2.5 liters.

Operating Instructions

- Continuous Operation: Once plugged in, the fountain will operate continuously. There is no on/off switch on the unit itself.
- Water Level: Regularly check the water level. Refill the fountain when the water level is low to prevent the pump from running dry, which can shorten its lifespan.
- Placement: Place the fountain on a stable, level surface indoors, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygiene of your pet's water fountain.
Daily Maintenance:
- Check water level and refill as needed.
- Remove any debris (pet hair, food particles) from the water.
Weekly Cleaning:
- Unplug: Disconnect the power adapter from the outlet.
- Disassemble: Remove the filter tray, filter, and pump from the stainless steel bowl.
- Clean Bowl & Tray: Wash the stainless steel bowl and filter tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Clean Pump: Disassemble the pump by removing the impeller cover and impeller. Clean all pump parts with a small brush (not included) to remove any mineral deposits or debris. Rinse thoroughly. Reassemble the pump.
