1. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the FOTING FT-KLC-T3 Pressure Washer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Electrical Safety: Always connect the pressure washer to a grounded outlet. Do not operate with damaged cords or plugs. Keep all electrical connections dry.
  • Water Pressure: The unit generates high-pressure water. Never direct the spray at people, pets, or electrical devices. Maintain a safe distance from the cleaning surface to avoid damage.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Always wear appropriate eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing when operating the pressure washer.
  • Total Stop System (TSS): This unit is equipped with a Total Stop System, which automatically shuts off the pump when the trigger is not engaged. This prolongs pump life and ensures safety.
  • Hose Protection: The high-pressure hose features an inner layer for enhanced protection. Inspect the hose for damage before each use.

2.1 Key Components

3. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Follow these steps for proper assembly:

  1. Attach the Handle: Secure the padded handle to the main unit using the provided fasteners.
  2. Connect High-Pressure Hose: Screw the 23ft high-pressure hose securely to the outlet on the pressure washer unit and to the inlet on the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the water supply is clean and free of debris. An inlet hose and filter are included for protection.
  4. Insert Nozzle: Select the desired quick-connect nozzle and insert it firmly into the spray gun's quick-connect collar until it clicks into place.
  5. Fill Foam Cannon (Optional): If using detergent, fill the foam cannon with appropriate pressure washer detergent and attach it to the spray gun.
  6. Power Connection: Uncoil the 35ft power cable completely and plug it into a grounded electrical outlet.

Note: Always ensure the water supply is turned on before starting the pressure washer to prevent damage to the pump.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Pressure Washer

  1. Ensure all connections are secure and the water supply is fully open.
  2. Turn on the main power switch on the pressure washer unit.
  3. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun for a few seconds to purge air from the system until a steady stream of water emerges.
  4. The unit is now ready for operation.

4.2 Adjusting Pressure with Touchscreen

The FOTING FT-KLC-T3 features an upgraded waterproof touchscreen interface for precise pressure control.

  • Use the touch controls on the screen to select one of the 8 available pressure levels.
  • Pressure can be adjusted from 4500 PSI to 5000 PSI.
  • Select a lower pressure for delicate surfaces and higher pressure for tough stains.

4.3 Nozzle Selection and Usage

The unit comes with 4 quick-connect nozzles, each designed for specific cleaning tasks:

  • Red (0°): Pencil-point jet for extremely tough spots and crevices. Use with extreme caution.
  • Yellow (15°): Narrow fan spray for intensive cleaning of small areas.
  • Green (25°): Wider fan spray for general cleaning of most surfaces.
  • White (40°): Widest fan spray for gentle cleaning and rinsing.
  • Black (Soap/Low Pressure): For applying detergent with the foam cannon.

Caution: Always turn off the pressure washer and engage the safety lock on the spray gun before changing nozzles.

4.4 Using the Foam Cannon

  1. Fill the foam cannon bottle with a suitable pressure washer detergent.
  2. Attach the foam cannon to the spray gun.
  3. Select the black (soap) nozzle.
  4. Spray the detergent onto the desired surface. Allow it to soak for a few minutes (refer to detergent instructions).
  5. Remove the foam cannon and attach a cleaning nozzle (e.g., green or yellow) to rinse the surface thoroughly.

4.5 Shutting Down

  1. Turn off the power switch on the pressure washer.
  2. Turn off the water supply.
  3. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
  4. Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.

5. Maintenance and Storage

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.

5.1 After Each Use

  • Clean Nozzles: Remove any debris from the nozzle openings using the included nozzle cleaning tool.
  • Rinse System: Run clean water through the system for a few minutes to flush out any detergent residue.
  • Wipe Down: Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.

5.2 Storage

  • Drain Water: Ensure all water is drained from the pump, hose, and spray gun to prevent freezing damage.
  • Organize: Utilize the integrated cable hook for the power cord, the mesh stock for the spray gun, and dedicated slots for nozzles and the hose for tidy storage.
  • Location: Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free area. The wheeled trolley allows for easy movement to storage.
  • Winterization: In cold climates, use a pump protector or non-toxic antifreeze solution to prevent internal components from freezing.
