Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your Heybike Cityscape 2.0. Refer to the assembly video for visual guidance.
1. Unboxing and Component Check
Carefully cut the shipping straps and open the box. Remove the small box containing the charger, tools, pedals, taillight, and manual. Then, lift the bike frame out of the box and remove all protective wrapping.
2. Front Wheel Installation
- Prepare the quick-release skewer and the front wheel.
- Remove the protection cap from the front wheel.
- Lift the front fork and insert the wheel, ensuring the disc brake aligns properly.
- Open the quick-release skewer, slide it into place, tighten the nut, and lock the bolt.

3. Fender and Front Light Installation
- Position the fender connection in front of the fork.
- Secure the front light and fender by tightening the pre-installed bolts.
- Ensure the fender does not rub against the tire.
4. Handlebar Installation
- Remove the cap and protector from the top of the front fork.
- Insert the handlebar into the fork stem.
- Replace the cap and adjust the screws to securely mount the handlebar.
- Test the handlebar by lifting and turning the wheel to ensure it is firmly in place.

5. Seat Installation
- Open the quick-release bolt lever on the seat post.
- Insert the seat post into the frame to your desired height.
- Tighten the quick-release bolt to secure the seat.
6. Rear Rack and Taillight Installation
- Install the rear rack using the screws provided on the bike frame.
- Attach the taillight to the rear rack, ensuring it is securely fastened.
7. Pedal Installation
The pedals are marked with 'L' (left) and 'R' (right) for easy identification. Screw them into their respective crank arms using the provided tools. Ensure they are tightened securely.
Operating Instructions
Battery Management
The Heybike Cityscape 2.0 features a UL-certified 468Wh IPX6 waterproof lithium-ion battery. It is removable for convenient charging.
- Charging: The charging port is located on the battery. Ensure the battery is switched off when charging.
- Removal/Installation: Turn the key to the off position to remove the battery. Insert it back into the frame and turn the key to secure it.

Power On/Off
To power on the bike, press and hold the LCD power button for approximately one second. The display will illuminate. To power off, press and hold the same button.
Riding Modes
The bike offers three working modes:
- Throttle Mode: Provides power without pedaling. Range: 30-35 miles.
- Pedal-Assist Mode (PAS): Provides motor assistance while pedaling. Range: 35-50 miles.
- Pedal Only Mode: Functions as a traditional bicycle with no motor assistance.
- Walk-Assist Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for walking the bike.
Effortlessly switch between modes using the controls on the handlebar display. You can customize your speed range from levels 1 to 5.

Gear Shifting
The Heybike Cityscape 2.0 is equipped with a 7-speed Shimano gear system. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears, allowing you to adjust your pace and effort level for various terrains.

Brakes and Lights
The bike features dual-disc brakes for effective stopping power. Test your brakes before each ride. The integrated LED lumen headlights, reflectors, and taillights ensure visibility. Activate them using the handlebar controls.


Maintenance
