2. Safety Instructions

  • Always connect the unit to a grounded power outlet with the correct voltage (110 Volts AC).
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug.
  • Keep the unit away from water and moisture. This unit has an IPX5 water-resistant design, but avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion.
  • Ensure proper ventilation. The exhaust ducts must be correctly installed to expel hot air.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the air conditioner and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Place the unit on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
  3. Consider the environment: The PC35 is suitable for RVs, vans, tents, and small indoor spaces.

4.2 Connecting Exhaust Ducts and Drain Pipe

  1. Attach the exhaust ducts to the designated outlets on the unit. Ensure a secure connection to prevent hot air leakage.
  2. Extend the exhaust ducts to vent hot air outside the cooling area (e.g., through a tent flap, window, or vehicle vent).
  3. Connect the drain pipe to the drainage outlet. Position the other end of the drain pipe to direct condensed water away from the unit and the cooling area.

4.4 Initial Operation

After setup, allow the unit to sit upright for at least 30 minutes before turning it on to ensure the refrigerant settles.

5.1 Control Panel

  • Cooling Mode: Provides rapid cooling, dropping the temperature by up to 18°F (10°C) in 15 minutes in strong mode. Adjustable temperature range: 61°F-90°F.
  • Dehumidifying Mode: Reduces humidity in the air.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling.
  • Strong Mode: Maximizes cooling power for quick temperature reduction.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates quietly at approximately 55dB for undisturbed rest, with a timer function.

5.3 Smart App Control

Control your PC35 unit conveniently via the BougeRV App from up to 33 feet away. The app allows you to:

  • Adjust temperature settings.
  • Switch between operating modes.
  • Set and manage the 24-hour timer.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

Regularly clean the air filter to maintain optimal performance and air quality. A dirty filter can reduce cooling efficiency and airflow.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power source.
