2. Charging the Battery
Use the provided USB charging cable to charge the 7.4V 400mAh LiPo battery. Connect the charger to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). A full charge typically takes approximately 30 minutes and provides about 15 minutes of runtime.
3. Pairing the Remote Control
To establish a connection between the remote control and the car:
- Ensure both the car and the remote control have fresh batteries installed.
- Turn on the RC car first. The car's LED lights may flash.
- Turn on the remote control. The remote's indicator light should flash.
- Wait for a few seconds. The indicator lights on both the car and the remote control should become solid, indicating a successful pairing.
- If pairing fails, turn off both devices and repeat the steps.
Operating Instructions
1. Remote Control Functions
Familiarize yourself with the remote control layout and functions:

Figure 3: Remote Control Functions
- Direction Wheel: Controls left and right steering.
- ON/OFF Switch: Powers the remote control on or off.
- Steering Fine-Tuning: Adjusts the steering trim to ensure the car drives straight when the wheel is centered.
- Gyroscope Fine-Tuning: Adjusts the gyroscope sensitivity for improved drift handling and stability.
- Speed Adjustment: Controls the overall speed limit of the car.
- Forward and Backward Trigger: Pull to accelerate forward, push to brake or reverse.
2. Driving the RC Car
Operate the car in an open, safe area free from obstacles and people. The 2.4GHz remote control provides a range of up to 100 meters.
- Acceleration/Braking/Reverse: Use the trigger to control forward movement, braking, and reverse.
- Steering: Use the direction wheel to turn the car left or right.
- LED Lights: The car features dynamic LED lights for enhanced visibility, especially during nighttime operation.
- Gyroscope: The built-in gyroscope assists in maintaining stability and precise control, particularly during high-speed maneuvers and drifting. Adjust the gyroscope fine-tuning for optimal performance.

3. Drifting Techniques
The Wltoys 284191 is designed for drifting. Practice these techniques for optimal performance:
- U-Shape Drift: Initiate a turn while maintaining speed, then counter-steer to slide through the corner.
- O-Circular Drift: Maintain a continuous circular drift by balancing throttle and steering input.
- 8-Figure Drift: Combine U-shape drifts to create a figure-eight pattern, alternating direction.

Maintenance
1. Battery Care
- Always disconnect the battery from the car when not in use.
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge the LiPo battery.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
- If the battery swells, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it properly.
2. Cleaning
- After each use, gently wipe down the car body and chassis with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Avoid using water or harsh chemicals, as these can damage electronic components.
- For hard-to-reach areas, use a soft brush or compressed air.
3. Component Inspection
Regularly inspect the following components:
- Wheels and Tires: Check for wear, damage, or debris lodged in the tires.
- Suspension: Ensure all four shock absorbers are functioning correctly and are not damaged.
- Steering Servo: Verify that the steering responds smoothly and accurately.
- Body Shell: Check for cracks or damage. The car features a metal R-buckle quick release design for easy body removal for maintenance.
