3. Installation and Setup
3.1 Wiring Connection
The TMEZON Y73 system requires a wired connection. Ensure a 2-wire connection from the indoor monitor to the doorbell. The monitor has its own 2-wire adapter. A 1m test cable is provided for initial connection. This distance can be extended up to 50m. The quality of the extension cable will affect system performance. If video or audio issues occur, consider replacing the extension cable.

3.2 Outdoor Doorbell Installation
The outdoor doorbell camera is IP65 waterproof and includes a waterproof cover. It features a built-in infrared sensor and a 140° wide-angle view for night vision. It is powered by the indoor monitor.

Install the doorbell at an appropriate height, ensuring a clear view of visitors. Use the provided mounting screws and wall plugs. A nameplate is included; write your name on it for identification.
3.3 Indoor Monitor Installation
Mount the 7-inch indoor monitor in a convenient location within your home. Ensure it is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for smart features.

3.4 TuyaSmart App Connection
To utilize the smart features, connect the monitor to the TuyaSmart mobile app using your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Follow the in-app instructions for pairing. This allows you to receive notifications, view live feeds, and unlock the door remotely.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Answering a Call
When a visitor presses the doorbell, you will receive a notification on your smartphone via the TuyaSmart app and the indoor monitor will ring. You can answer the call from either device to see and speak with the visitor.

4.2 Unlocking the Door
The TMEZON Y73 offers three methods to unlock your door:
- Indoor Monitor: Tap the unlock icon on the 7-inch monitor.
- TuyaSmart App: Use the unlock function within the app on your smartphone.
- RFID Card: Present an RFID card to the doorbell unit. Hold for 1 second to open the door, or 3 seconds to open a gate (if connected).

If no one answers the doorbell within 60 seconds, the system will automatically switch to message mode, allowing visitors to leave a voice message.
