2. Mounting Options

The SANSI pool lights offer versatile installation methods:

  1. Magnetic Mount (for metal surfaces):
Simply attach the light directly to any magnetic metal surface. The internal anti-oxidation magnet provides a strong hold.

  2. Magnetic Plate with Adhesive (for above-ground pools or non-metal surfaces):
This method is ideal for above-ground pools with thin walls or other non-metal surfaces.
    • Clean the desired installation surface thoroughly.
    • Apply the provided adhesive gel to one side of the magnetic attraction plate.
    • Attach the plate to the exterior wall of the pool, ensuring the light can be magnetically attached to the interior wall. The exterior wall thickness should be less than 0.1 cm for optimal magnetic attraction.
    • Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before attaching the light. The adhesive is safe for underwater use.

  3. Suction Cups (for smooth, hard surfaces):
For tiled pools or other smooth, non-porous surfaces.
    • Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
    • Attach the 4 suction cups to the back of the light unit.
    • Press the light firmly onto the desired smooth surface. Avoid placing suction cups over grout lines or seams for best adhesion.

Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: Replace AA batteries in the light units and AAA batteries in the remote control when brightness diminishes or the remote becomes unresponsive.
  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the light units, especially if used in saltwater pools, to prevent mineral accumulation and ensure optimal performance and longevity. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent if necessary.
  • Sealing Check: Before each submersion, visually inspect the double sealing rings for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure the light unit is tightly twisted shut to maintain its IP68 waterproof rating.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from both the lights and the remote control and store them in a cool, dry place.
