Setup
1. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the 4.0 Ah Lithium-Ion battery. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet. Slide the battery pack onto the charger. The indicator lights on the charger will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is fully seated for proper charging.

2. Installing/Removing the Battery Pack
- To Install: Align the ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in the drill's handle. Slide the battery pack into the handle until it latches securely.
- To Remove: Press the release latches on the sides of the battery pack and pull the battery pack out of the handle.
3. Installing/Removing Drill Bits
- To Install: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws. Insert the drill bit into the chuck. Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit.
- To Remove: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and remove the bit.
Caution: Always ensure the battery pack is removed from the drill before installing or removing bits to prevent accidental startup.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off and Direction Control
- On/Off Trigger: Squeeze the trigger switch to turn the drill on. Release to turn it off. The speed is variable based on trigger pressure.
- Forward/Reverse Selector: Push the selector to the left for forward rotation (drilling/driving screws). Push to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws). Center position locks the trigger for safety.
2. Speed Settings
The drill features a 2-speed gearbox. Slide the speed selector switch located on top of the drill to choose between:
- Speed 1 (Low): 0–450 RPM, for high torque applications like driving large fasteners or drilling large holes.
- Speed 2 (High): 0–1,700 RPM, for faster drilling and driving smaller fasteners.
3. Clutch Settings
The 24-position clutch ring allows you to adjust the torque output. Rotate the clutch ring to the desired setting. Lower numbers are for driving small screws or into soft materials, preventing overtightening. Higher numbers are for driving larger screws or into harder materials. The drill icon setting is for drilling applications, providing maximum torque without clutch slippage.
4. LED Work Light
The built-in LED work light illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed, improving visibility in low-light conditions.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Keep the tool's air vents clear and free of debris to prevent overheating. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals. Periodically blow compressed air through the motor housing to clear dust.
2. Storage
Store the drill, battery, and charger in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the battery is removed from the drill before storage. For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity.
3. Battery Care
Avoid fully discharging the battery. Recharge the battery when its performance decreases. Do not store batteries in extreme temperatures. Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
